Meet Our Imam

Imam Ashraf is a graduate of Preachers' Preparation Institute in Egypt under the supervision of Al-Azhar University Scholars. He has a Master's degree in Islamic Studies from the Beirut Islamic University (BIU). He teaches Tajweed Al-Quran, Tafheem Al-Quran, Tafseer Al-Quran, Seerah and Islamic Principles. He is also a regular Khatib and Lecturer at many other masajid and Islamic Centres in the GTA.

Madrasah School - Weekday

As Salaamu'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Brampton Islamic Center runs on a weekly basis, Seerah, Tafseer and Hadith Halaqa's. The timing for each program is as follows:

Seerah - Every Tuesday starting after Asr
Tafseer - Every Thursday starting after Asr
Hadith - Every Saturday starting after Fajr

Alhamdulillah, these programs are happening on a weekly basis and the timing of the programs make it easy for the entire family to participate.
These weekly programs make it easy for the family to join at any time. You can rest assured that you will always learn something regardless of your frequency, but in order to gain the most knowledge, it is highly recommended that you make your participation a regular practice.
The programs are conducted by Imam Ashraf and we are indeed fortunate to have such a knowledgeable Imam share his time, thoughts and wisdom with us.

Welcome to Brampton Islamic Centre Website

BIC/BSIA previously “The Harvest Worship Center”, was purchased by members of the Muslim community in 2005. Since then the mosque has grown into a vibrant Islamic Center that embraces the multiculturalism of Brampton. With the blessings of Allah (Subhan Wa Ta’ala), the dream of an organization and a community began to unfold.

The mosque has a large prayer hall and adjacent multipurpose hall which is used for recreational activities and community services. In addition to the 5 daily prayers, there are 2 Jummah salahs conducted every Friday because of the size of our congregation. There are other spiritually enriching programs conducted throughout the week by local Imams and Scholars...

Our Vision is to set the example to build a vibrant community and to promote the Islamic way of life. To achieve this through establishing a conductive spiritual environment where congregational worship and service to humanity are welcoming to enhance the spiritual, social, & public lives of members. To safeguard the pure teachings of Islam while making relevance to the Canadian way of living.
